Background

Conceptually, the Martha Company began in 1960's with my Grandfather Joseph Henderson. He had a 5th grade education, but ample business savvy and began investing in multiunit residential properties throughout the city of Philadelphia, PA. As a child, I spent many days with my grandfather and learned the value real estate and developing relationships. He was able to acquire, manage and renovate properties while charging a reasonable rent to his residents. TMC was founded in this tradition and seeks to create mutually beneficial relationships/agreements with tenants, contractors, trades, buyers and sellers. We specialize in undervalued and distressed properties in the Philadelphia area.
